Das VOCER Institut für Digitale Resilienz tagt auf dem diesjährigen International Journalism Festival in Perugia (Italien) vom 19. bis 23. April 2023. Im Rahmen des von der Bundesbeauftragten für Kultur und Medien geförderten Projekts NPJ.news lädt das Institut am 22. April 2023 ein zur englischsprachigen Panel-Diskussion „Nonprofit news: Is journalism ready for charity?“ mit kompetenter Besetzung:

A VOCER Institute for Digital Resilience event: „Nonprofit news: is journalism ready for charity?“ on April 22, 2023 at the International Journalism Festival in Perugia.
The VOCER Institute for Digital Resilience is meeting at this year’s International Journalism Festival in Perugia, Italy, April 19-23, 2023. As part of the NPJ.news project funded by the German Federal Commissioner for Culture and the Media, the Institute invites you to join the English-language panel discussion „Nonprofit news: Is journalism ready for charity?“ on April 22, 2023, with a competent line-up:
- Julia Vernersson (Managing Director, Hostwriter, Germany)
- Sameer Padania (Director Macroscope Consultancy, UK)
- Elisa Simantke (Editorial Director Investigate Europe, Board Member Netzwerk Recherche, Germany)

- The panel will be moderated by the institute’s co-founder, Dr. Stephan Weichert (Co-founder and board member, VOCER Institute for Digital Resilience, NPJ.news, Germany)
Alongside the panel we’ll have a meetup for people working on and thinking about charitable and nonprofit status for journalism, including at a policy, legal or funding level.
